Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the UP4IT mobile application and related services ("UP4IT", "we", "our"). By creating an account or using UP4IT, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who can use UP4IT

You must be at least 13 years old to use UP4IT. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use UP4IT with the consent of a parent or guardian. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account.

3. Activities

UP4IT lets users discover, create, and join real-world activities. Activities are organized by users, not by UP4IT. We do not vet activities or participants and are not responsible for what happens at an activity. Use good judgment and review our Safety Tips before meeting people in person.

Activity creators are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, for complying with local laws, and for any permissions or insurance their activity may require.

4. Paid activities & subscriptions

• Some activities require payment. Payments for paid activities are processed by our payment partner Stripe.
• UP4IT offers an optional subscription with a free trial, billed through your App Store account and managed by Apple. You can cancel anytime in your Apple ID subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Except where required by law or expressly stated, payments are non-refundable. If an activity is cancelled by its creator, contact us at support@up4it.life.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you post (profile details, activity listings, chat messages, photos). By posting, you grant UP4IT a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host and display that content solely to operate the service. You must have the rights to any content you post.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use UP4IT to:

• Harass, threaten, or harm others, or post hateful or discriminatory content;
• Post illegal, deceptive, or sexually explicit content, or promote illegal activities;
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity;
• Spam, advertise without permission, or scrape or misuse the service;
• Interfere with the operation or security of the service.

See our Community Guidelines for more detail. We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Disclaimers

UP4IT is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that activities will take place as listed, that other users are who they claim to be, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. You participate in activities at your own risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UP4IT and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for personal injury, property damage, or losses arising from your use of the service or attendance at activities organized through it.

9. Termination

You may stop using UP4IT and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or where required to protect the service or other users.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above; continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
