UP4IT ("we", "our", or "the app") is an activity-first social discovery app that helps you find nearby activities, join them, and meet the people going. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Overview

We collect only what we need to help you discover activities, join them, coordinate with other participants, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.

2. Information we collect

• Account information: When you create an account, we collect the information you provide, such as your name and profile photo.
• Location: With your permission, we use your device's location to show activities happening near you. Location is used in-app and is not sold or shared with advertisers.
• Activity data: Activities you create, join, or save, and messages you post in activity group chats.
• Photos: With your permission, we access your camera or photo library only when you choose to update your profile photo.
• Push notification tokens: If you enable notifications, we store a device token so we can send you activity reminders, confirmations, and chat notifications.
• Purchase information: Subscription and payment processing are handled by Apple, and our payment partners RevenueCat and Stripe. We do not store your credit card details.

3. How we use your information

• To show you relevant activities near you
• To let you join, save, and coordinate activities with other participants
• To send you notifications about your activities (confirmations, reminders, chat messages)
• To process subscription purchases and paid activity bookings
• To maintain the security and reliability of the service

4. Third-party services

We use the following service providers to operate UP4IT:

• Apple — in-app purchases and subscriptions
• RevenueCat — subscription management (privacy policy)
• Stripe — payment processing for paid activities (privacy policy)
• Expo — push notification delivery (privacy policy)

These providers only receive the data they need to perform their function.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Other participants in an activity can see your display name, profile photo, and messages you post in that activity's chat. We may disclose information if required by law.

6. Data retention & deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the address below, and we will process the request within 30 days. For step-by-step instructions, see our account deletion page.

7. Children's privacy

UP4IT is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Tracking

UP4IT does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and does not use your data for third-party advertising.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
